Downtown Fun

The level of stupidity this guy has is just plain embarassing.

He mas well put on a big hard hat on with one of those flashing lights on the top of it and wear a sign on his chest that says "Please arrest me". I'd be willing to bet that he just got tossed out on his head, and for some reason thinks that he'll fare better in round 2 if he gets the employees to follow him out to the sidewalk to do it all again.

Sadly, this happens all the time. This guy is only one of many students/kids/retards who are downtown every night thinking they're the toughest motherfucker around, and they can't be hurt, killed or arrested. Often times, though, they discover they're wrong.

Fucking idiot.

Intelligence at work in the bars...

A few funny stories I ran across...

Stabbing threat leads to citation
The Reporter - Jan 27 2009
Three bartenders from Kozmos, 23 S. Main St., flagged down a Fond du Lac Police Department officer after the man refused to leave the bar, the report states.
The man saw the police car at 11:42 p.m. and began running north on Main Street and then east on Division Street. Police caught the man inside a nearby hotel, according to the report.
The man said he was running because he was drinking while on probation, according to the report.
After bouncers talked with police, the man became agitated, bragged about being a cage fighter and challenged police to meet him in the octagon.

Believe it or not, about a year ago I saw this exact same scenario unfold before my eyes. Of course, the tough guy was already handcuffed and on his way to the back of the patrol car when he challenged the cop to a fight. Convienently, he couldn't follow up on his threat.

Drunk Woman Growled Like an Animal Then bite Bouncer

A PUB bouncer whose arm was bitten by a drunk patron said yesterday his attacker even growled as she sank her teeth into his bicep.
"She was like an animal," victim Glenn Fuller told the Cairns Post outside Cairns Magistrates' Court, after watching his attacker, Louise Jane Hesketh, 46, receive a six-month sentence to be served as an intensive correction order.
"I've been assaulted many times in my nine years as a security officer but that was my first bite.
"I know I'd rather be punched and kicked than have that done to me again ... I've got a permanent reminder."
The attack took place at the Grand Hotel in McLeod St about 6.50pm on September 7 last year, when single mother Hesketh became enraged after being told to leave because of her level of intoxication.
She pleaded guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm for biting the security officer and common assault for backhanding him to the head when he initially told her to leave.
She also pleaded guilty to a Liquor Act charge for failing to leave licensed premises.
The woman's defence said his client "lashed out", albeit disproportionately, after being pinned to the ground by the wrists by Mr Fuller who, the lawyer claims, used excessive force.

A perfectly reasonable reaction to being asked to leave a bar or club. Completely rational. I have to say, I've never been biten, but females have tried. If they actually had, I can't say exactly how I would have reacted, but it wouldn't have been good. For them, that is.

Convicted Bouncer Afraid to Eat Prison Food

NEW YORK - A lawyer says a former bar bouncer convicted of kidnapping one New York City college student and accused of murdering another is afraid to eat in prison because he's afraid of being poisoned.
Attorney Joyce David asked a court Wednesday to bar inmates from involvement in preparing Darryl Littlejohn's meals. David says Littlejohn recently lost 10 pounds because Downstate Correctional Center inmates and guards have threatened to lace his food with urine or feces.
Littlejohn was sentenced last month to 25 years to life in prison for abducting York College student Shanai Woodward in October 2005. He faces a murder charge in John Jay College student Imette St. Guillen's (ih-MET' saynt GEE'-yen's) death the next year and has pleaded not guilty.
State prison spokeswoman Linda Foglia says officials have no record of Littlejohn complaining about threats but will ensure his safety.

Aw. So sad. I can't say I feel bad for this shitbag in the least. Let him eat whatever they give him. He deserves it.

Man Trashes Destin Club and Threatens Bouncers

DESTIN - A Panama City man was arrested at Club Overboard after he threatened bouncers and entered the club with a knife, according to an arrest report from the Okaloosa Sheriff's Office.
At 11 p.m., Jan. 8, a doorman said Martin Reginald McNabb, 49, had kicked over a trashcan and grabbed the other doorman by the arm while shouting. While he was escorted out of the club, McNabb removed his glasses and got directly in the bouncers face and threatened him.
He remained in the parking lot and screamed at the bouncer.
"I'm going to kick your (expletive). I'll beat your (expletive) (expletive), you (expletive) (expletive)," yelled McNabb.
The doormen said they feared for their safety.
When an Okaloosa County Deputy arrived on the scene, he saw McNabb come around the building and head towards the front door of Club Overboard. When the bouncers identified him, McNabb ran away.
The bouncers warned the deputy that the man had a knife. McNabb was caught with the knife's blade open and arrested for trespassing, armed with a deadly weapon, disorderly
conduct on the premises of a licensed establishment and resisting arrest without violence.

This, unfortunately, is all too common. I feel for the door guys who still have to put up with shit like this. I'm glad I'm out of it.

And....I'm off.
